NEW THIS YEAR: SINGLE-USE PLASTICS AT THE MARKET
With the onset on the Federal Government Single-Use Plastics Prohibition Regulations to address pollution and a target of zero plastic waste by 2030, the Garrison Night Market is making steps to make this goal a reality. Starting this year food vendors serving food/desserts in plastic containers, such as clamshell containers, lidded containers, plates and bowls, will be prohibited and vendors are asked to find paper alternatives.
