What would you miss most from your 21st century life if you were suddenly transported back in time nearly 200 years? 35 km West of Fredericton lays a world where history comes to life. This open air museum offers over 40 exhibits, horseback riding, hands-on workshops, dining, shopping, as well as a 19th century village full of costumed characters, farm animals and their incredible stories.

Don’t be surprised when you’re asked to roll up your sleeves and pitch in. Try your hand at heritage gardening; milk the cow; or maybe even fire a musket. Whatever you get up to at Kings Landing, you can be sure you’re making a little history of your own!

*The heritage buildings at Kings Landing were relocated to the site from other Saint John River Valley locations prior to the construction of the Mactaquac Hydroelectric Dam in the late 60s. Most were moved by flatbed, barge or ice.
