Developed by Fredericton Tourism in collaboration with 11 beloved local breweries, the Fredericton Taproom Trail outlines the perfect way to explore Atlantic Canada’s craft brewing capital, and discover your next favourite craft brew!
To fully experience the Fredericton Taproom Trail, beer and cider enthusiasts can pick up the passport style map at any of the 11 participating taprooms. With your #FredTapTrail passport in hand, it’s time to hit the trails, order some drinks and collect your stamps! Once you’ve visited 8 taprooms and collected the corresponding stamps, you can exchange your map for a Fred Tap Trail t-shirt! And, after visiting all 11 taprooms, submit your completed passport to the Fredericton Tourism office (in person or by mail) to be entered for a draw to win a Fredericton-craftcation getaway, perfect for any craft beer and cider lover!
Fredericton’s 120km+ extensive system of paved trails offers the perfect way to explore the city and taprooms responsibly, on foot or bike. The Taproom Trail will take you all across town, from the southside staples such as Graystone and Grimross - to the northside pillars such as Picaroons, Trailway, and newcomer, Half Cut! You’ll need more than a day to soak up the beer scene in Fredericton, so why not book a stay at one of several hotels conveniently located along the Fredericton Taproom Trail!
You can pick up a copy of the Taproom Trail map at any of the 11 participating taprooms, and exchange your stamped passport for your hard-earned t-shirt at the STMR.36 BBQ and Social, located in the Delta Hotel by Marriott.
Once you’ve completed the Fredericton Taproom Trail, you can take it even further! Discover more of the Fredericton Capital Region’s brews, such as Big Axe Brewing in Nackawic, or Off Grid Ales in Harvey! And once you’ve tasted all of the region’s beers, check out some locally-distilled spirits at Black Galley, Devil’s Keep, Big Fiddle Still, Gagetown Distilling & Cider, or First Light distilleries!
Please remember to explore the Taproom Trail (and beyond) responsibly. If you tire of walking or biking, local taxis are available to get you home safely!
