Celebrate the magic of the holidays in Downtown Fredericton on Friday, November 29, from 5:30-9:00pm.
Featuring the Legislature and Mayor’s Tree lightings and enchanting downtown activations to get you in the holiday spirit!
Downtown Fredericton shops will be open until 9:00pm.
Downtown holiday activations include:
- Fredericton Legislature Tree Lighting at 6pm at the Legislative Assembly building
- Kids Holiday Crafts with the Multicultural Association of Fredericton Inc (MCAF) at 5:30pm at the Fredericton Convention Centre
- City of Fredericton Mayor’s Tree Lighting starting at 7:30pm at City Hall
- Featuring performances from Broadway Star Tony LePage, local musician Ella Campbell and the Kiwanis Youth Choir. Plus, a reading from Fredericton’s Poet Laureate Fawn Parker and hot chocolate and cider courtesy of Ignite Fredericton
- Free Gingerbread Cookie Decorating starting at 7pm at Gallery 78.
- Free Holiday Ornament Painting startimg at 7pm at Clay Café
- Pop-Up Tree Lot starting at 6pm at Barracks Square
