Come and spend the night with Bobcaygeon, a tribute to The Tragically Hip, as they deliver a high-quality performance with a sound strikingly similar to the Hip’s studio recordings. When first formed, in 2013, the band’s main focus was to perform on special occasions. However, with a deep fondness for the music, Bobcaygeon has experienced steady growth and success in many parts of the Maritime provinces and now enjoys performing on a regular basis.

Tom Thomson: North Star, organized and circulated by the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, includes over a hundred of Thomson’s oil sketches, focusing on his remarkable three-year period of productivity from 1914-17. It is a legacy unmatched in Canadian art, and it begs the question of what might have been. Tom Thomson: North Star, runs from November 15 2024 - March 30 2025 at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

Canada’s master improviser Colin Mochrie and hypnotist extraordinaire Asad Mecci return to the Playhouse with their spontaneous and imaginative show, Hyprov! Audience members volunteer to be hypnotized by Mecci, then remain on stage to participate in an improv scene with Mochrie.
