Taking place from 3:15-4:45pm, this event is free to all and family-friendly.

Si vous n’avez jamais essayé la géocachette, voilà l’occasion idéale de le faire. Les participants se rassembleront à 13 h 30 au pavillon du parc Odell pour une courte séance d’introduction à la géocachette, puis iront à l’extérieur en compagnie d’un géocacheur chevronné pour trouver certaines des 27 géocaches dissimulées dans le parc et visiter certains des 10 emplacements Adventure Lab. Du plaisir pour toute la famille! 

If you have never tried Geocaching then this is a perfect opportunity to give it a try. Gather at Odell Park Lodge at 1:30 for a short Introduction to Geocaching session and then go out with a seasoned geocacher to find some of the 27 geocaches that are hidden in the park and visit some of the 10 Adventure Lab locations. Fun for the whole family! 

Come discover the wonders of the great outdoors at the Oromocto Wetlands! Following your walk, cozy up with some free hot chocolate in the new Visitor Information Centre (26 Gateway Drive), from 1:00-3:00pm.

Learn about needle felting techniques in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Get to know the basics of this unique technique by learning how to manipulate wool in three-dimensional forms and creating beautiful pieces with Fibre Artist Renata Britez. 

In this workshop, you will learn how to make needle-felted landscape picture of a winter cabin in the woods using needle felting techniques.

This is beginner friendly class.

This beginners’ workshop is appropriate for adults and youth 16 years and up.

Découvrez différentes techniques de feutrage à l’aiguille dans une atmosphère conviviale et relaxante.

Familiarisez-vous avec les bases de cette technique particulière en apprenant à manipuler la laine pour créer des formes en trois dimensions et de jolies pièces avec l’artiste de la fibre, Renata Britez. 

Dans cet atelier, vous verrez comment créer un paysage en feutre représentant un chalet d’hiver dans les bois, à l’aide des techniques de feutrage à l’aiguille.

Cet atelier convient aux personnes débutantes âgées de 16 ans ou plus.

Renowned naturalist Dr. Jim Goltz will lead an interpretive walk through the Fredericton Botanic Garden. Along the way, Dr. Jim will identify birds, plants, trees, and potentially the less shy amongst our resident critters. Dr. Jim welcomes questions along the way, and will be available following the walk, when yummy hot chocolate is served in the Resource Centre. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome on the walk.
