Moncton’s Le Choeur Louisbourg, renowned for its musical excellence, presents an exceptional evening of French music for choir and organ, performed with passion and virtuosity under the skillful musical direction of Monique Richard and featuring organist Thomas Gonder, taking place at the Wilmot United Church on Saturday, November 4 at 3pm.

The program will primarily focus on Charles Gounod’s Messe Chorale and Louis Vierne’s Messe Solonelle, two masses which are examples of 19th and early-20th -century French sacred music in the Romantic tradition.
