Fredericton Visitor Information Centre
Situated at 494 Queen Street in the heart of Downtown Fredericton, our Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is your complete source of information when visiting the Fredericton Capital Region. The bilingually staffed centre provides literature and details on regional attractions, restaurants, accommodations, and updated tour and activity schedules.
VIC Operating Hours:
- June 15 to August 31: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- September 1 to October 13: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- October 15 to May 2025: Open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Please note, we will be closed on Monday, October 14. For the most current visitor information, drop by our VIC or contact us during our operational hours.

How to get here
Flying
The Fredericton International Airport is just 14 km from our downtown, and offers multiple flights daily through Air Canada, Porter, WestJet and Sunwing.
YFC onsite Car Rentals are available through Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National.
A taxi agent is located at the airport to assist passengers and arrange for ground transportation needs.
Driving
The Fredericton Capital Region makes for an excellent road-trip destination from several major cities:

- Boston, Massachusetts, USA (7 hours)
- Bangor, Maine, USA (3 hours)
From the United States, Fredericton is only 60 minutes from the Houlton, Maine border and 90 minutes from the Calais, Maine border.

Getting around the City
