Cast away the “winter blues” with an afternoon of lively and exotic music that promises wonderful entertainment for the whole family.

You are invited to an afternoon of lively music and to mark the advent of spring with the Fredericton Symphony Orchestra (FSO) Harmonies of Passion and Dance, featuring music inspired by Travellers and Romani people on Sunday, April 7 at 3pm at Christ Church Cathedral.

The concert will feature music from Johann Strauss II, “Der Zigeunerbaron” Overture, Maurice Ravel, Tzigane, Johannes Brahms, Hungarian Dances 4-6, and Georges Bizet, Suite from “Carmen” No. 2. Talented youth Nina Cruz, a Fredericton student, is the featured violin soloist in the Ravel piece.
