Experience the City of Fredericton’s free summer concert series this summer in the historic backdrop of Officers’ Square within the Garrison District! Taking place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7pm featuring a variety of local performances and travelling artists.
About the band:
The Thomists were ‘born’ at the top of the hill at St. Thomas University in 1965. They’ve been keeping Live Big Band Music Alive in and around the Maritimes for over five decades! While many old-style Big Bands faded into history before the pandemic, and others couldn’t withstand its challenges, The Thomists have persevered, continuing to bring the sounds of classic Big Band tunes to audiences who appreciate vintage music at its finest. Known for playing some of the most beloved songs from the 20th century, along with a selection of more modern hits, The Thomists are dedicated to providing an unforgettable live music experience. Their performances invite listeners to relive the golden era of Big Band music while also offering a chance for audiences to hit the dance floor. So, if you're ready to swing and sway, The Thomists are here to make sure the music never stops!
