Jeffery Straker is a Saskatchewan-based, folk/roots singer-songwriter. He is a classically trained pianist raised by a church-organist mother and auctioneer father. Jeffery famously won the prestigious Vina del Mar (Chile) International Song Festival where he performed to a live crowd of 20,000 people and to a TV audience of 100,000,000 viewers across the Spanish-speaking world.  He has won many other awards for his songwriting including a Western Canadian Music Award, multiple Saskatchewan Country Music Awards and just this year a Canadian Folk Music Award in the category of “Contemporary Canadian Folk Singer of the Year”.
