Branch Out Productions is thrilled to bring one of the world’s most beloved musicals to the Fredericton stage. Set in 1938 Austria, The Sound of Music follows Maria, an exuberant young governess who brings music and joy to a broken family, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazi regime rises to power.

Featuring timeless classics such as “Climb Every Mountain,” “Do Re Mi,” “Edelweiss,” “My Favourite Things,” and the iconic “The Sound of Music,” this heartwarming production is the perfect way to begin your holiday season.

Performances will take place December 4, 5, and 6 at 7:00 PM, with a matinee on December 6 at 2:00 PM. All shows will be held at the Tom Morrison Theatre at Fredericton High School.

This production is recommended for ages 10 and up, with an approximate runtime of three hours including intermission. Please note that "babes in arms" are not permitted. Cookies and water will be available by donation during intermission.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students and seniors. Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more.
