Trails in Motion is an annual showcase featuring a selection of films from around the world that celebrate trail running and ultra-endurance. Whether you're a seasoned trail runner, a curious newcomer, an outdoor enthusiast, or just looking for some inspiration, the Trails in Motion Film Festival welcomes you and invites you to slow down.

From the wild Canadian forests to the Italian Dolomites, and from iconic mountain ranges to beloved local trails, this year’s program will take you on a breathtaking journey through the world of trail running. Get ready to witness eight short- and medium-length films showcasing the beauty of the great outdoors and stories featuring grit, resilience, love, adventure, and joy that are deeply intertwined with the sport of trail and ultrarunning.

The Atlantic Tour of Trails in Motion is organized by Trail Emotion. Your hosts for the evening are Kelsey Hogan and Adam Fearnall, trail running partners who also share a love of storytelling and films. We believe in creating opportunities for conversations on and off the trail to explore the spaces between ourselves and our emotions through trail and ultrarunning. We hope that this film screening brings us all together to laugh, cry, hope, and dream while getting excited for the running season ahead.
