Jig your way over to join award winning fiddler Katherine Moller for the release of her seventh solo album, "Sheila's Brush" on Monday, May 6 at 7:30pm taking place at the Fredericton Playhouse. 

Katherine will be joined by Skip Holmes (guitar), Jason Flores (bass), Karl Gans (drums), and special guests, Symphony NB. 

Enjoy the evening with a selection of original Celtic tunes from the new album along with some old favourites from shows gone by!

Embark on a captivating visual journey with eleven photography/videography students from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. The View Finders, a photography exhibition, will run at the Charlotte Street Art Centre from Thursday, May 2 until Monday June 17.

The title of the exhibition is a play on the word viewfinder, a small window on every camera that helps a photographer compose their view, their perspective, and ideas. The theme of this exhibition is the unique point of view that each photographer has developed and continues to explore.

David Francey makes a return to Fredericton for his first stop in the capital city in over 10 years on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:30pm  for a much anticipated performance at The Charlotte Street Arts Centre.

Francey is a folk singer in the truest form. Born in Scotland, but arriving in Canada at the age of 12, Francey’s life was very much shaped by the experiences of living, travelling and eventually working in the adopted country he now called his home. His style, although on the surface coming off as simple and minimal, packs a great deal of depth.

David Francey est de retour à Fredericton pour la première fois en plus de 10 ans pour offrir un spectacle très attendu, le mercredi 1^er mai à 19 h 30, au Centre des arts de la rue Charlotte.

Ian Thomas is “the complete entertainment experience!”

He is a film-composer with 22 feature films to his credit; an author; an actor, much sought after as a voice-over artist and recognized for roles such as Dougie Franklin on the Red Green Show... and, of course, a Juno-award-winning Singer-Songwriter whose songs helped form the bedrock of the Canadian musical landscape, a contribution recognized by SOCAN when Ian was honoured with a National Achievement Award for Songwriting.
