Chapter by Chapter, Poem by Poem, Scene by Scene aims to facilitate writers of all levels who seek feedback on their writing in a quiet, supportive, no-pressure environment.

As part of FROSTival, join renowned naturalist, Dr. Jim Goltz, for an interpretive tour of the Fredericton Botanic Garden, followed by a hot chocolate social in the Resource Centre, at 10 Cameron Court.  During the Garden tour, Dr. Jim will identify plants, trees, birds, and if they aren’t too shy, our resident critters. Bring your cameras and your questions.  Approximate time 90 minutes.

Dans le cadre du FROSTival, joignez-vous à Jim Goltz, naturaliste de renom, pour une visite guidée du Jardin botanique de Fredericton, puis jasez en dégustant du chocolat chaud au Centre de ressources, au 10, cour Cameron.  Pendant la visite, M. Goltz identifiera des plantes, des arbres, des oiseaux et, si elles ne sont pas trop timides, les petites bêtes qui vivent dans le jardin. Apportez votre appareil photo et préparez vos questions.  Durée approximative : 90 minutes.

Wostawea Cross-Country Ski Club wants to help you get up and gliding this winter! Participants in our community ski rental days will receive skis, boots, poles, and tips from friendly Wostawea volunteers, all on the beautiful trails of Killarney Lake park. Equipment will be rented for an hour at a time on a first-come, first-served basis. Wostawea is an inclusive cross-country skiing community; all are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced skiers. Come out and discover a new reason to love winter in Fredericton!

Le club de ski de fond Wostawea veut vous convaincre de venir glisser cet hiver! Les participants aux journées communautaires de location de skis recevront des skis, des bottes, des bâtons et des conseils des bénévoles chaleureux de Wostawea, tout cela sur les sentiers magnifiques du parc du lac Killarney. L’équipement sera loué pour une heure à la fois selon la formule du premier arrivé, premier servi. Wostawea est une communauté de ski de fond inclusive; tout le monde est bienvenu, des parfaits débutants aux skieurs expérimentés.

We explore pattern choices, colour play, reading a pattern and designing our scarves.  
 
The rustic studio provides the perfect atmosphere for this portable hobby, and all materials and loom rental are included in the price. You're welcome to bring your own loom if you have one!
