Shivering Songs
Embrace the chill and warm your soul with Fredericton’s premier midwinter music festival Wednesday, January 23 to Sunday, January 26. Shivering Songs brings a celebration of songwriting and storytelling to Fredericton, hosting internationally renowned artists in historic and intimate spaces throughout the Downtown. Dine Around Freddy
Just in time for FROSTival, Fredericton’s winter culinary celebration is back! Snowy Activities
Did you know Crabbe Mountain has the largest vertical descent in New Brunswick? Crabbe is featuring special deals for beginners and seasoned skiers/snowboarders alike during FROSTival! Watch Race Clubs from across Atlantic Canada train and race on the hill during Speed Week, January 27 to February 2. Join the fun as you watch head-to-head snowmobile racing under the lights with Torque Motorsports King of the Mountain on Saturday, January 25!
Back again for 2025, explore a one-of-a-kind, Enchanting Winter Wonderland, Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2 at the OG Estate Brewery - New Brunswick’s first off-grid microbrewery and luxury domes. Just 45 minutes outside of the City, this weekend-long event features endless outdoor activities for the whole family including an outdoor Illumines night walk, sliding, skating and more!
For more winter fun, check out Mactaquac Provincial Park! The park offers sledding, outdoor skating, cross-country skiing, fat biking, and more! Need some equipment? You can reserve your rentals by calling ahead. Make sure to visit the park on Saturday, February 1 for their 2025 Winter Forest Escape – the official kick off to their Forest Skate!

Gather your friends together for an evening of gallery hopping in Downtown Fredericton on Friday, February 7, experiment with new mediums and techniques with Megan Billings Pottery Workshops, take a class at Honey Bee Folk School and more!
