Make fall memories at Kings Landing

Harvest is in the air at Kings Landing! Take a break from life and step back this fall to the peaceful and picturesque atmosphere of Kings Landing. Open 10 am to 5 pm, you have an opportunity every day until October 13 to take in the autumn breeze and colours!

Roam this historical village and get to know the wonderful characters. See the sawmill, visit the blacksmith shop, admire the fall décor, say hello to the loveable farm animals, and more. This village is brought to life by the sounds of chattering villagers and the smell of meals cooked by the hearth.

Enjoy a delectable Thanksgiving dinner at the King’s Head Inn. Made with farm-fresh ingredients, time-honoured recipes and a sense of history unique to New Brunswick, there’s a reason they are so popular. Book with ease directly from the Kings Landing website – be sure to get your spot before seats fill up! Pre-booking is required.

Meet the talented Artists in Residence and participate in workshops to get hands-on! Try your hand at felting fall-themed sculptures, painting fabric bags, and aluminum printing. This is the inaugural year of the program and the artists are making great accomplishments at the Slipp House. Check out the full lineup of artist activities, running until October 5.

The biggest weekend of the fall is Thanksgiving from October 11 to 12. On October 12 at 1 pm, you can’t miss our Annual Thanksgiving Auction at the Theatre. The villagers have worked hard all season to prepare the finest quality of artisan goods for this event. There will be wooden furniture, wooden spoons, handspun yarn, baked goods, knitted items, a mystery box, and more! Enjoy the entertainment and make your bid – these are one-of-a-kind, handmade goods only found at Kings Landing.

The final day of the season is October 13. Enjoy Thanksgiving Monday with your loved ones with one last stroll through the village. Although the season is coming to a close, there is a new and exciting Christmas experience to look forward to at Kings Landing!
