At the Fredericton Public Library on April 7 from 2 - 3pm find out: What lies beyond the solar system?   How are stars born? What are they made of?  How do they die?  Is space really empty?  Are there other planet systems outside our own solar system?  What are our galactic neighbors? What else is out there?

Find answers to those questions and more in this session where Fredericton astrophotographer Stephan Hamel will make you travel millions of light years away from planet Earth. With the help of deep space pictures he took from his backyard, he will discuss the fabulous and mysterious deep space objects that can be imaged by amateurs from their home. He will also discuss the techniques used to do so. Galileo, Kepler and Newton would have be very envious.
