In this 5-day course, Brenda Parks will guide students through the fundamentals of working with clay while also supporting those who are ready to expand their skills. This class is open to all levels, including beginners and returning students. Beginners will learn the essential techniques of wheel throwing, including how to center clay, use basic pottery tools, and create foundational forms such as the cylinder. From there, students will explore trimming and glazing to complete their first ceramic pieces.

Returning and intermediate students will have the opportunity to refine their techniques, explore more complex forms, and develop their personal approach to wheel-thrown ceramics with guided support.
