Bring the kiddos and spend a fun afternoon with great hands-on activities at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery for a Family Workshop on Sunday, October 22 from 2 – 4pm.

This month’s theme is Still Life from 2D to 3D!

From the painting Still Life on a Table by British artist Ben Nicholson, recreate a 3-dimensional object in your own way. Using cotton canvas, thread, needle, and paint, transform a 2-dimensional material into a sculptural form using hand sewing techniques, then add design to your object using paint.

Everyone is invited to explore collective creativity!
