About the Band:
Les Fins de Siècles are a neo-traditional music group based in Caen, this crew of privateers scours the taverns and festivals with its maritime repertoire! Founded three years ago in Caen, Les Fins de Siècles produces compositions and adaptations of old songs. They are led by Jo, a singer and harmonist previously seen in Jo Burns, Raven’s Day and Muz’nouch. “I want to talk about travelling and sharing stories and testimonies,” says Joe, who is joined by lyricist, guitarist and singer Marc and the double bassist Rodolphe, both from the rock song group Yéti, and the trombonist Mado, who has long played with the Frères Pinards. Jo, a lover of jazz, funk and soul, appreciates in the Fins de Siècles “the friendship that unites the musicians, the alchemy, the musical influences of each one of us.” Currently a six-piece that has performed in many maritime festivals and  events in Normandy, including the inauguration of the Musée de la Mer in Caen. In 2023 they undertook a fifteen-day tour of Quebec and New Brunswick, Canada.
