About the band:
Theresa Malenfant, the reigning Queen of the Blues in New Brunswick, is renowned for her powerful and soulful performances. Starting her career at 14, she has earned numerous accolades, including the East Coast Music Award and the Blues With a Feeling Lifetime Achievement Award. Known for her deep, emotionally charged performances influenced by blues legends like Janis Joplin and Etta James, Theresa continues to captivate audiences, particularly alongside her musical partner Scott Medford and The Instigators. A key figure in the Canadian blues scene, she remains an inspiring force in music, performing widely in Canada and Europe.
