Get ready and strap on your dancing shoes! The City of Fredericton is hosting the Groove in the Garrison this summer during the Garrison Night Market. Join us every Thursday at 7pm in Officers’ Square for an evening of music and dancing. From Celtic and Bluegrass to Indie Rock, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

On Thursday July 9, join Kitsch for Indie Rock music.

Kitsch has become the maritime music scene’s newest mainstay since blazing onto stage in summer 2025. Their blend of indie pop, psych rock, and jazz fusion sounds futuristic yet familiar, helped by spacey synth tones and 3-part vocal harmonies. Lyrically, Kitsch explores romance, existence, and politics through a sarcastic, absurdist lens. This all blends together into a captivating musical formula that is fun and fresh while not lacking depth.
