This is the story of a couple who have stopped communicating, haunted by the memory of Johnny, the child that could have made them happy. In this apartment with its outdated charm, Réal reads scientific journals and Juliette performs household tasks, somewhere between falling out of love and incomprehension.

Johnny was nominated for a Governor General’s Literary Award in 2021 in the Drama category. It was the third time for Emma, twice as a contender (Trafiquée and Exercice de l’oubli) and once as winner (L’intimité).
