Rose Cousins, the acclaimed Nova Scotia-based folk artist, is set to release a new album that explores the "conditions of love," taking listeners on an emotional journey through the complexities of this powerful feeling. Co-produced with longtime friend and bandmate Joshua Van Tassel, the album marks Rose's return to her musical roots with the piano, an instrument she feels most connected to in expressing raw emotion. 

Rose's work has earned her numerous accolades, including two JUNO Awards, two Canadian Folk Music Awards, eleven East Coast Music Awards, and a Grammy nomination. Her music has received praise from major outlets like CBC, NPR, and Billboard, and she has shared the stage with artists such as Patty Griffin, Jann Arden, and Bruce Cockburn. Her songs have also been featured in popular TV shows like Grey's Anatomy and Batwoman.
