P'tit Belliveau is the full-time project of pop experimentalist and head Acadian alien Jonah Guimond, already boasting two acclaimed albums, Greatest Hits Vol.1 and Un homme et son piano, featuring such generational anthems as “Income Tax,” “Les bateaux dans la baie,” “J’aimerais d’avoir un John Deere” and “Demain.” That’s already not too bad. Then he dropped a third, self-titled album on April 26, 2024, and there’s a lot more where that came from.  

After his first three records, we think he’s pretty cool. With the 2020 release of Greatest Hits Vol.1, we saw his potential (GAMIQ Breakthrough Artist of the Year and winner of the Félix award for Record Production of the Year at the ADISQ Gala). With his second album, Un homme et son piano, the magnitude of the phenomenon became clear (four sold-out Club Soda shows). And with the third, he’s bound to achieve his dream of the “gros poster [au] Centre Bell, sold-out” [“big poster [at the] Bell Centre, sold out”].
