Starting in 2024, the Witches on the Water was a small group of locals who met up to paddle the cove at Stewart McLeod Park (Turtle Park) in Chipman, NB to gather donations for local charities and hoped that it would become popular enough to become an annual gathering. After seeing how successful the first year was, we can't wait to get out again!
A reminder, the paddle is a "meet up". There is no registration as it is not organized by any group. You have to provide your own board/kayak/etc. and your own costume. You are responsible for your own safety and those in your charge so please ensure you have life jackets and take all safety measures.
We would ask that you keep your gear to self-propelled. There are too many people on the water to have a motorized craft. This year Caravan Bakery will be on site (witches like pizza too!) and we will be collecting new/unopened items for both the food banks and animal shelters.
Hope to see you there!
