Shivering Songs
Embrace the chill and warm your soul with Fredericton’s premier midwinter music festival Wednesday, January 17 to Sunday, January 21. Shivering Songs brings a celebration of songwriting and storytelling to Fredericton, hosting internationally renowned artists in historic and intimate spaces throughout the Downtown. Take in 10+ sparkling performances in some of Fredericton’s most unique and beautiful venues.
Dine Around Freddy
Just in time for FROSTival, Fredericton’s winter culinary celebration is back! Dine Around Freddy offers extraordinary deals at some of the Fredericton Capital Region’s finest restaurants, featuring unique and unforgettable, Maritime flavours. Snowy Activities
Located just 25 minutes from downtown, Crabbe Mountain has the largest vertical decent in New Brunswick and is home to some of the best terrain in Atlantic Canada. The Mountain has some special deals for beginners and seasoned skiers/snowboarders alike during FROSTival! Watch Race Clubs from across Atlantic Canada train and race on the hill during Speed Week, January 29 to February 4. Grab a $35 Lift ticket and spend a Sunday afternoon on the slopes. New to skiing? Take advantage of Crabbe’s Never Ever Days! Never Ever Days provides an affordable opportunity for new skiers to give it a try with a lift ticket, ski lesson, and equipment rentals for only $25, January 20-21! Don’t miss Torque Motorsports King of the Mountain! Join the fun at night of head-to-head snowmobile racing under the bright lights of Crabbe Mountain Saturday January 27, beginning at 5:00pm. A new 2024 FROSTival experience, explore a one-of-a-kind, enchanting Winter Wonderland, Friday, January 26 to Sunday, January 28 at the OG Estate Brewery, New Brunswick’s first off-grid microbrewery and luxury domes, in Magaguadavic, New Brunswick. This weekend-long event features endless outdoor activities for the whole family including sliding and skating, a snow maze, a snow globe photo booth, winter crafts, cupcake decorating, and more!
At night, discover OG’s Illumines Night Walk, a family friendly trail of colourful lights and magical winter displays – you won’t want to miss this unique outdoor experience.
For more wintery fun, check out the Mactaquac Provincial Park! The provincial park offers sledding, outdoor skating, cross-country skiing, fat biking, and more! Need some equipment? Gather your friends together for an evening of gallery hopping in Downtown Fredericton on Thursday, February 1, experiment with new mediums and techniques with Megan Billings Pottery Workshops, bring out your inner artist at the Dandy Paint Lounge, take a class at Honey Bee Folk School, and more!
