There’s nothing quite like enjoying a local craft beer with your furry friend at your side! The Fredericton Taproom Trail showcases 11 local taprooms, all along the trail system. The #FredTapTrail map shows which ones are dog-friendly in the legend, or you can always call to check!

If your dog needs a little time off-leash, visit one of the City’s dog parks, the Cityview Dog Park on Fredericton’s North Side, or Knowledge Park Dog Park on the South Side. Additionally, there are two new parks to explore – one conveniently located right off the walking trail in the downtown core and the other by McLeod Avenue. Our parks are a great way for your pup to chase after a ball or play frisbee and burn off some energy! About 15 minutes from downtown, you’ll find the Hanwell Recreation Park. This park offers 3 varied loops, the longest of which is 4.5 km. Designated areas will notify dog owners as to where dogs can be off leash, but if you are unsure as to whether to do this, err on the side of caution and keep your furry friend on a leash.
