The FMSQ National Cross-Country Championship Series is back and returning to Crabbe Mountain for the third year in a row from August 2-3, 2025! Mark your calendars for Canada's largest Motocross, Quad, and E-Bike race series. With over 450 racers from Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritimes - you don’t want to miss this epic weekend of racing. Spectators can catch the action up close all over the mountain from the race track sidelines and from the Crabbe Mountain lodge patios! 

Full weekend access passes are $20 (ages 5 and under are free). 

This New Brunswick Day weekend, celebrate the rich heritage and vibrant present of New Brunswick at the Fredericton Region Museum. Dive into the history of the province when you explore exhibits highlighting the people and events that built New Brunswick into the place we know and love today. À partir du mois de juillet, vous pourrez vous joindre à la troupe de théâtre Calithumpians qui vous guidera dans une promenade à la lanterne à la découverte du centre-ville de Fredericton. Cette visite adaptée aux familles met en vedette plusieurs comédiens fantômes que vous rencontrerez en chemin, tout en vous informant sur le passé paranormal de Fredericton. Vous aurez la chair de poule et vous vous tordrez de rire à coup sûr pendant cette randonnée hantée! 

Starting in July you can join the Calithumpians theatre troupe as they take you on a lantern-lit ghost walk through historic downtown Fredericton. This family-friendly tour features several phantom thespians to meet along the trail as you learn about Fredericton’s paranormal past. This Haunted Hike is sure to deliver spine-tingling frights and rib-tickling laughs!

Tours depart from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery Ampitheatre (703 Queen Street) at 9pm, Monday-Saturday. Rate: $15/Adults, $10/kids (E-transfer and cash only).

The Christ Church Cathedral noon hour concert series is back! Taking place every Friday from July 4 to August 29 from 12:10pm-12:50pm at Christ Church Cathedral, featuring a variety of local performances and travelling artists. Get ready for an unforgettable music series showcasing incredible concerts for your listening pleasure! We hope to see you there!

Featuring anywhere between 7-10 vendors ranging from Greek, Syrian, Jamaican, Korean, Mexican, and more. 

The market operates from 11am-6pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

On August 1, 1834, slavery was abolished in British North America and other British colonies, freeing enslaved people in Canada. On August 1-3, Kings Landing will mark Emancipation Day and focus on the Gordon House and Black history in New Brunswick in partnership with the New Brunswick Black History Society and historian Jennifer Dow.

Le 1er août 1834, l’esclavage a été aboli en Amérique du Nord britannique et dans d’autres colonies britanniques, libérant ainsi les personnes asservies au Canada. Les 1, 2, et 3 août, nous soulignerons le Jour de l’émancipation en portant notre attention sur la maison Gordon et l’histoire des Noirs au Nouveau-Brunswick, en partenariat avec la New Brunswick Black History Society et Jennifer Dow.

A New Brunswick Day long-weekend music festival situated along the banks of the Nashwaak River, taking place on Friday August 1 to Sunday, August 3.

Experience the City of Fredericton’s free summer concert series this summer in the historic backdrop of Officers’ Square within the Garrison District! Taking place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7pm featuring a variety of local performances and travelling artists.

The Garrison Night Market showcases the diversity of Fredericton and the surrounding area featuring local and imported handmade products, art a variety of local artisan, culinary and musical talent.
